Our Story
It all started when our founder, Jane, was searching for cute yet comfy clothes to wear while working from home. She was tired of choosing between frumpy pajamas or stiff, structured workwear. Jane wanted options that were equally cozy and confidence-boosting – clothing that enabled her to move through her day feeling productive, polished, and most importantly, like her true self.
When Jane couldn’t find what she was looking for, she decided to create it. She began handcrafting bralettes, shorts, sweatpants and pajama sets made from luscious fabrics like modal and French terry. Pieces you can wear to a Zoom meeting but also curl up on the couch in. Apparel as soft as your favorite blanket, yet put together enough to wear beyond the bedroom.
As a busy mom of three, Jane knew firsthand the importance of clothing that transitions seamlessly from school drop-off to errands to lounging. That’s why Colsie® designs are thoughtfully crafted with versatile wearability in mind. Expect laid-back silhouettes, modern details, and pops of color that make getting ready each day feel more fun.
Word soon spread about our game-changing mix of comfort and chic. The demand from family and friends for Jane’s creations grew rapidly, leading her to officially launch Colsie® in 2020.
